Deanna and Tommy

It happened over New Year's Eve and just three months later, Tommy and Deanna were committing their lives to each other. Tommy asked for Deanna's hand in marriage--even though he was stationed in Arkansas as part of the United States Air Force--and both families came together to support the evident love the couple shares.

While the bridemaids zig-zagged through Deanna's home--some waving mascara wands like makeup fairies, others pinning freshly curled hair--she stood patiently while her sister tied the corset to the wedding dress. Her father passed sliced apples over the kitchen counter to Deanna and watched as his daughters glowed in the afternoon sunlight seeping through the blinds. Just before darting out the door, Deanna kissed her father goodbye, only to kiss her future husband hello a few minutes later.

Having opted to see each other before the ceremony, Deanna approached Tommy from behind, lightly brushing his shoulder with her delicate fingers. WIth tears streaming down his face, they embraced and shared a few quiet moments together. The tears continued off-and-on through the ceremony. As Tommy stood proudly next to the minister, tears rolled down his cheeks as Deanna walked down the aisle.

Together they will both relocate to Arkansas and begin their lives as husband and wife. Something tells me they'll be flying higher on love than the jets Tommy flies for the Air Force :)

Here a few of my favorites....

Don't get me wrong...I love Manolo Blahnik's just as much as any girl, but this is the smartest pair of wedding shoes ;)

They're givin' me a run for my money!

You keep getting bettah and bettah. I love the shot of the shoes under the dress on the wood floor. So refreshing and unique. It really jumped out at me. Nice stuff.
