Thanks, Jess...
My life is such that there are people who come along and walk beside me during different periods of my life. I don’t look back at situations and define them by their outcome or jarring memories; rather, I remember them by who was standing by my side. Who was cheering me on, crying with me, and/or uncontrollably laughing. The people—and not the situation—are what remains in my heart.
It seems as of late there have been a plethora of helping hands, to which I am forever indebted. And Jessica Claire is no exception. Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding in San Juan Capistrano with her and Stacy. Beyond being a good time, I learned a lot. Photographing along side other people has been the best learning tool, both about the camera…and about me. How far I’ve come, how much farther I’d like to go.
I’ll be posting the images within the next few days, but I just wanted to thank Jessica for the warm invitation and her generous spirit…not only are her pictures startling gorgeous out of the camera, she’s a phenomenal person to know.
Stacy, Jess and me at the end of the night:
